Drumdaddy Drums mission statement The sole purpose of Drumdaddy Drums is passion driven... to build an
affordable drum that meets the demands of today's drummers. I've found
that making a drum by hand gives it the attention that is required to
be of a higher quality than mass or assembly line products. Being made
in the USA is a big deal for us, as we see the influx of overseas products
that seem to dominate the music industry. We in the USA still do high
quality workmenship at an affordable price. We believe every American
drum manufacture feels the same way. I've been making drums since 1968
in my middle school, Roy Martin Jr High School, here in Las Vegas, Nevada.
They weren't the prettiest but they did the job, they were marching drums.
I made my first fiberglass set in 1980 and used it in the clubs &
hotels in Vegas. It had a great sound & projection. Again, it was
not the prettest to look at. Now with almost 40 years of building &
playing experience I believe we make a great looking & sounding drum.
We're not out to be the largest manufacture of drums and percussion products
in the world. But we are out to be one of the very best in the world.
We understand that drums like drummers are all unique & different.
That is the reason each of our drums are so unique, because they are custom
designed by you, the drummer. We specialize in acrylic shells because
they truly have a unique look & sound. The heads, the drum hardware,
all have a major part in the sound & looks....for this reason we've
chosen to use only the very best manufactures of shells, heads, lugs &
hoops. We also work with segmented drum shells and ply maple & birch
shells and stains ,wraps and custom lacquer finishes and of course graphics.
